I Will Trust Him
I know for a fact I Will Trust Him was born out of adversity in pursuit of the kingdom and has touched a spiritual chord in our congregation. I believe it is from God.
Steve Wright, Elder and Worship Leader, Lincoln Christian Fellowship, Lincoln RI

Dear Brother or Sister in the Lord,

As a pastor in New England for the past 19 years, I know the need to persevere through trials. During one of those "dark nights of the soul," I began singing a song which declared my willingness to trust Him no matter what trials come my way.

I Will Trust Him has been used by a number of congregations and received a positive response. Many have remarked to me about the power of the scriptural words and the simplicity of the music.

I believe the song is from the Lord and will be edifying in your walk. Feel free to download it and pass it on to your pastor or worship leader. The song is registered with CCLI (#4420231), so please include it in your regular reporting to them.

Please contact me if I can serve you in any way.

Your brother,
Chap

I Will Trust Him

Though He slay me, I will trust Him.
I will trust in the name of the Lord.
Though my best friend should betray me,
I will trust in the name of the Lord.

Chorus
Jesus, O Jesus, shield your child today.
Jesus, O Jesus, shield your child I pray.

Though He lead me through the valley
I will trust in the name of the Lord.
Though an army should surround me
I will trust in the name of the Lord.

Jesus, O Jesus, shield your child today.
Jesus, O Jesus, shield your child I pray.

I Will Trust Him has quickly become one of my favorite worship songs. Scriptural words make this a stirring song of commitment. I highly recommend it.
