Interest in Spirituality Dear Brother or Sister,

According to a survey released by the Higher Education Research Institute
at the University of California, Los Angeles, college campuses are seeing
an upswing in religion among students. The poll surveyed 112,232 freshmen
at 236 colleges and universities and found that 80 percent of students are
interested in spirituality, 76 percent are searching for meaning in life,
74 percent discuss life philosophies with friends, 81 percent attend
religious services, 79 percent believe in God, and 69 percent pray.

These results confirm the practical nature of Key #3 in Evangelism for
the Tongue-Tied. It is easy to transition to spiritual things using our
transition question - "What are your spiritual beliefs?" or "Are you
interested in spiritual things?"

Do you have some college students around you? Engage them in
conversation using the transition questions. They're interested in talking.

Learning with you,
